David Silipigno is a well-known entrepreneur and humanitarian from Saratoga County. He is the founder of the David B.
Silipigno Foundation which aims at providing a helping hand to the underprivileged children in the Saratoga County and its outlying communities. He wants to create an environment of possibility, potential, and opportunity for the weaker sections of the society.

David Silipigno had become an entrepreneur when he was just 19 years of age and has never looked back since then. He has helped thousands of area employees by providing them employment opportunities to make their lives better and by the time he was in his mid 20s, he had more than 600 employees working with him. He has interests in various other businesses and is founder and/or consultant of five area businesses; Principal Commercial, Saratoga Venture Capital, Industry Partners Title, First Guarantee Mortgage, and Saratoga Studios.

David B. Silipigno Foundation also provides funds to other community-based organizations that aim at helping the at-risk children by providing them social and emotional support. David Silipigno's foundation has funded many organizations including the Arthritis Foundation, Saratoga Center for Family, Mental Health Foundation, Catholic Charities, YMCA of Saratoga. He and his staff participate in local charitable events regularly donate their money and time to such events.

David Silipigno has received many awards for his outstanding services to the community. He was presented 'In The Spirit Of Service' award by The Arthritis Foundation of NENY. He was also honored by The Albany Academy for Girls. They named a new athletic facility after him as he had donated $775,000 for the new facility and this was the largest donation the Academy had ever received.
