Based in Saratoga County, David Silipigno is a well known humanitarian and entrepreneur. David believes that every person should put in his efforts to make this society a better place to live in. He is the owner of David B. Silipigno Foundation which is popular for making efforts in order to improve the living standards of poor and needy children. It works for the well being of underprivileged children and provides them emotional and social support. This foundation also provides funds to several other charitable trusts including like Arthritis Foundation, Saratoga Center for Family, Catholic Charities, Mental Health Foundation, YMCA of Saratoga and many others.

David B. Silipigno Foundation has also funded various charitable events which are organized to boost the self confidence of underprivileged children. Some of such events are The Future's Tournament, The Northeast Family, LARKfest, PAWS For a Cause, 2007 Albany Tulip festival etc. David has been awarded many times for his humanitarian deeds. He was honored with "The Spirit of Service" award on March 7, 2009 for his dedication towards the betterment of society. This award was given by John Colley and Christine Colley, who had previously chaired The Arthritis Foundation. Besides this, he was also honored the Albany Academy for Girls by naming a new athletic facility after his name.
David Silipigno ventured into business at an age of nineteen and by the time he reached at his mid 20's, he had more than 600 employees working for him. National Finance Corp. (NFC) was his first business venture which created vast employment opportunities among the youth of Saratoga Springs. David believes that every successful person should show his gratitude towards the people who have helped him in his journey to success.
