David Silipigno is the founder of Saratoga based David B. Silipigno Foundation and also the co-founder of Shopwurld, a Viral Fundraising program. David Silipigno was born in Boston, Massachusetts. He grew up in Clifton Park, NY. He studied in Shenendehowa high school and also attended the Albany University.

David Silipigno achieved success through hard work and determination and became an entrepreneur at the age of 19. David Silipigno is also the founder and/or consultant of five area businesses: Principal Commercial, Industry Partners Title, Saratoga Venture Capital, First Guarantee Mortgage, and Saratoga Studios. Silipigno has been honored and awarded by various organizations for his endeavors. He was presented with In the Spirit of Service Award by The Arthritis Foundation of NENY. He was also honored by The Albany Academy for Girls who named a new athletic facility after him as David had donated $775,000 for the new facility.
