David Silipigno is a well-known businessman and a dedicated humanitarian who has worked hard for the upliftment of the underprivileged children in Saratoga County and its outlying communities. He is the founder of David B. Silipigno Foundation. He studied from Shenendehowa High School and also attended the Albany University. David Silipigno had become an entrepreneur at the age of 19 and since then, he has provided employment opportunities to many of the area employees for the betterment of their future. David Silipigno has interest in various businesses, and he is also the founder and/or consultant of five area businesses; Principal Commercial, Saratoga Venture Capital, Industry Partners Title, First Guarantee Mortgage, and Saratoga Studios. David Silipigno learnt a lot about running and managing business from his first business venture, National Financial Corp. (NFC) which had provided great employment opportunities in the Saratoga County area. National Financial Corp. was also the first company that developed a call center approach towards business. He believes that hard work and dedication is required to achieve success in life. David Silipigno is also known for contributing to charities and making significant donations to help the needy people. David B. Silipigno Foundation aims at providing help to underprivileged children in the Saratoga County and its outlying communities. This foundation also supports other community-based organizations that aim to help the at-risk children by providing them social and emotional support. They provide funds to such organizations on annual basis. David Silipigno has also funded various events like the FUTURES Tour, Paws For A Cause and many more. He has received various awards for his contribution for the upliftment of the society. He was honored with the In the Spirit of Service Award by The Arthritis Foundation of NENY. He was also honored by The Albany Academy for Girls who named a new athletic facility after him because he had donated $775,000 for the new facility.
